Cancellation Policy — Homrz

This policy explains how order cancellations work on Homrz, including cancellation fees. By using the Platform or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

Important: Homrz is a marketplace. Fulfillment, shipping, and COD collection are handled by Sellers and/or third-party partners. Cancellation availability depends on the order status.

2) Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees may include one or more of the following:

A) Homrz platform fee

  1. 0% if cancelled before confirmation or before preparation starts (typically).
  2. Up to 2% of the order value (min 5, max 25 in the order currency) if cancelled after confirmation/while processing to cover operational costs.

B) Seller preparation/restocking fee

A Seller may apply a fee if:

  1. Preparation has started
  2. Item is customized/made-to-order
  3. Packaging/materials were used

Any such fees must be clearly disclosed on the product/store page before purchase.

C) COD partner fee (third-party)

Since COD is provided via a third-party collection partner, COD service/collection fees may be non-refundable once the service is initiated (e.g., shipment created, pickup scheduled, delivery attempt).

COD fees may be refunded only in cases of proven Seller fault or a verified partner operational issue (case-by-case).

D) Shipping/packaging/pickup costs

Any costs already incurred (special packaging, pickup, shipment creation) may be deducted where applicable.

3) Customized / Made-to-Order Items

Customized items may not be cancellable once production starts, or may be cancellable with a fee depending on the production stage (where permitted by law). This will be disclosed before purchase.

4) How to Cancel

Account > Orders > select order > Cancel Order > choose reason > confirm.

5) Refunds After Cancellation

If cancellation is accepted:

  1. Online payments: refunded to the original method (typically 5–14 business days).
  2. Homrz Wallet: typically 1–3 business days.
  3. COD: typically refunded to Homrz Wallet or an alternative method (typically 3–14 business days, partner dependent).

Non-refundable fees (e.g., COD partner fees already incurred) may be deducted.

6) When Cancellation is Not Available

Not available if:

  1. Order handed to courier/shipped/out for delivery
  2. Digital item delivered/activated
  3. Customized production started
  4. Fraud/chargeback review in progress

Return policy applies instead.

7) Abuse Prevention

Homrz may limit cancellation privileges or restrict accounts in cases of abuse (excessive cancellations or repeated COD refusal).
